About NAAC

NAAC, established in 1994, aims to make quality an integral part of higher education. Accreditation is a process of self-assessment and external peer review that helps institutions identify their strengths and areas for improvement. The revised framework is outcome-based and uses both system-generated scores and peer evaluation.

Our NAAC status: S.V.E.T. College continues to work towards and maintain NAAC accreditation, reflecting our focus on curricular quality, teaching-learning, research, infrastructure, and student support.

NAAC Assessment Criteria

Institutions are evaluated on seven key criteria:

Curricular Aspects – Design, flexibility, and relevance of programmes
Teaching-Learning & Evaluation – Process, resources, and assessment
Research, Consultancy & Extension – Research output and community engagement
Infrastructure & Learning Resources – Labs, library, ICT, and facilities
Student Support & Progression – Mentoring, placement, and progression
Governance, Leadership & Management – Institutional policies and practices
