National Cadet Corps (N.C.C)

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a premier youth development program in India that fosters discipline, leadership, and service. Through structured training, cadets develop integrity, selflessness, and responsibility while engaging in military training, community service, adventure sports, and cultural events. The NCC promotes patriotism, unity, and social integration, contributing to nation-building and opens doors to numerous career opportunities and scholarships.

NCC at S.V.E.T College

Objectives

  • To develop character, comradeship, discipline, and leadership
  • To create a human resource of organized, trained, and motivated youth
  • To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces

NCC at SVET College

NCC at SVET College has been active since November 2010. The College has a total sanctioned strength of 55 cadets in affiliation with 27 Gujarat Bn NCC, Jamnagar.

Our ANO Capt Rahul Kunvariya of 27 Guj Bn NCC was awarded Best ANO Award of Jamnagar Group in 2018 and excelled in Digital Literacy awareness during the Dwarkadish Sailing Expedition in 2017. The contribution of the Cadets and ANOs of the College to the NCC Directorate Gujarat is noteworthy.
